PG classes at Baijnath and Palampur, four-year Integrated B.Ed at four colleges, and a dedicated Science College at Hamirpur.

Post-graduate classes have been approved at Government Degree Colleges Baijnath and Palampur (Kangra). Sociology, Geography, Music and Sanskrit have been sanctioned at Panarsa (Mandi).
Four-year Integrated B.Ed starts at Nadaun (Hamirpur), Chail Koti and Tikkar (Shimla) and GCTE Dharamshala, and a two-year B.P.Ed at Saraswatinagar (Shimla).
Government College Haripur Guler (Kangra) becomes a Fine Arts College with ten new subjects and faculty posts, and Government College Hamirpur becomes a dedicated Science College with an Integrated B.Ed (B.Sc) unit.
