School Inspection

Deputy Directors inspect at least one school per block, and BEEOs at least two schools, every month.

The inspection proforma has been revamped for Classes 1–12.

The revised proforma focuses on students’ Learning Outcomes, the teaching-learning process and remedial measures.

Schools where learning outcomes are found Average or Poor are revisited within three months. Where they are Poor, the Principal and teachers concerned receive a show-cause notice and are directed to take remedial action.

Deputy Directors present these cases — and the remedial steps taken — at review meetings, along with good practices and success stories that other schools can adopt.
