Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States, under Samagra Shiksha since 2021.

STARS is a World Bank-supported project under Samagra Shiksha, launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Education, to improve school quality and learning outcomes in government schools.

Focus areas: Foundational Literacy and Numeracy; teacher training and classroom practice; assessment reform; education governance and data systems; and vocational education with school-to-work transition.
